Spent time typing data in ipad, no data in iphone

I like the concept of this app. It has robust feature set like reporting.
But after entering all data on ipad I have no way to move it to my iphone! It also looks like I will lose all data if I upgrade my OS or upgrade to new device, since there is no cloud storage. There is also no way to get hard copy. All my work is now tied to a single device :( Cant even upgrade without losing everything...

I understand security implications but for people without iTunes this app is useless because of no backup. Perhaps encrypted cloud storage would be an option?
